About the Event
Revelation 6
The seven seals are the long story ending at Armageddon. The first seal discloses the four colored horses that can also be found in Zechariah 6:1-8, which was written 600 years before the book of Revelation.
Zechariah 6:1-5
Zechariah asks the question, “what are these, my lord?” (Zechariah 6:4 KJV). The angel answered him and explained, “These are the four spirits of the heavens, which go forth from standing before the Lord of all the earth.” (Zechariah 6:5 KJV). We can conclude from this scripture that the four horses represent and are symbolic of four spirits and are not actually horses.
Revelation 6:3-4
The first horse I want to discuss is the second horse from the second seal (red horse). The rider of the red horse was given power to take peace from the earth and was given a great sword. History shows us that during the cold war era, the communist countries i.e. Russia and China were known as “red” countries. The official color of socialism is red. Both flags of Russia and China are red, symbolizing communism.
“Red is traditionally associated with socialism and communism. The oldest symbol of socialism (and by extension communism) is the Red Flag, which dates back to the French Revolution in the 18th century and the revolutions of 1848.” (Wikipedia [Political Colour]; [Red])
A look into history reveals that these “red” countries were responsible for taking peace from the earth, as well as taking the lives of their own kind. The sword symbolizes power, in which both Russia and China are known for; being 2 of the 3 world’s largest military powers.
Revelation 6:5-6
The black horse rider (spirit) is described as having a set of balances in his hand. To understand this symbolism, we must look back on history once again.
“On 1 December 1966, the government was formed by the Social Democratic Party of Germany and the Christian Democratic Union of Germany, the two major political parties in the Federal Republic of Germany. It was the result of arguments about tax increases between the CDU/CSU–FDP coalition of the time. The FDP ministers stood down and a new government was formed with the SPD under Kurt George Kiesinger of the CDU. The grand coalition was in control of 95% of the Bundestag, leaving some politically active students disillusioned; this disillusionment led to the formation of the Außerparlamentarische Opposition which formed a core of the German student movement. The Kiesinger grand coalition lasted until 1969.[3][4] “ (Wikipedia [Grand Coalition (Germany)]; [Federal Republic (1949-)]; [Kiesinger cabinet (1966-1969)])
Time magazine produced a magazine on December 9th, 1966 regarding this very coalition. Seen below is a picture of the cover of that magazine.
As you can see in the cover of this magazine, the artist chose to interweave the colors, red and black to signify the battle between the communist (socialist) and the capitalist (democracy). An article inside this edition explained that when the socialist and democrats came together to form a government, it was a marriage between the red and the black.
As for the set of balances in the hand of the rider of the black horse, we know that balances symbolize trade. Coincidentally, the whole message of capitalism is trade. When the Bible says,” and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.”, it means, not to hurt the economy.
Revelation 6:1-2
The first horse (spirit) we see is the white horse. This white horse is symbolic of Catholicism. If you investigate the life of the Catholic pope, most everything about them is colored in white. The Pope always wears white apparel, the pope’s automobile, helicopter and private jet are among many things that are all white. The Bible says that a crown was given to him who rode the white horse. I can only imagine that if the spirit of Catholicism were a horse, what color it would be (white). Author Paul Blanshard wrote a book titled, Communism Democracy and Catholic Power, where he explains the three major powers of the world, Catholicism being one of them. Forty years later, author Malachi Martin wrote a book titled, The Keys of This Blood, where he also shows Catholicism as a major world power.
Revelation 6:7-8
The final horse revealed in the fourth seal is the pale horse (spirit). Pale in the original Greek language (Chloros) would be translated “green”. So now we need to determine what the green power is… An article by author Daniel Pipes, in his middle east forum titled, Militant Islam Reaches America, said,
“The collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991 prompted loose talk about Islam replacing Marxism-Leninism as the West's necessary enemy. In symbolic terms, it was said that green (Islam's color) had replaced red (communism's color) in the West's rogues' gallery. I dispute this in "The Imaginary Green Peril," examining military confrontation and mass immigration issues, the two elements of this thesis, and conclude that in both respects the fear is exaggerated. A decade after the Soviet Union's demise, I still agree with dismissing the military threat; but the issue of immigration now concerns me more than it did in 1990, when I first wrote this piece.”
Upon further investigation, we find that green is the dominate color in Islam. Today, if you were to go to the temple mount, you would find that all the doors are painted green and all the iron railing is green. If you stand on the mount of Olives at night, overlooking Jerusalem, you would see that every mosque, every light, are all green because green was Muhammad's favorite color. Therefore, green is the official color of Islam.
The Bible says that power was given to him over the fourth part of the earth. If you do a Google search of Islam, you will find the following information:
“It is the world's second-largest religion[4] with over 1.8 billion followers or 24% of the world's population,[5] most commonly known as Muslims.[6] Muslims make up a majority of the population in 50 countries.” (Wikipedia [Islam])
The prophesies of the Bible match perfectly with current world events and facts as we should expect.
The rider of the green horse is also described as death. We know that the people of Islam glorify death, thinking that the greatest thing that can do is to die for Allah.
These four spirits are not limited by national boundaries. There are Catholic, Communist, Capitalist, and Islamic powers all over the world.
Zechariah 6:6
The Bible says that the black horse (capitalism) goes into the north country. If we look at our world today, the northern hemisphere is dominantly capitalist i.e. America and Europe. The Bible also says that the white horse (Catholicism) would follow the black horse because Catholicism has followed capitalism into both America and into Europe. The Bible then says that these who have gone into the north country have quieted the Lord’s spirit. That’s why we don’t see many large spiritual revivals in the northern hemisphere, because we are so distracted by our wealth and stuff. Americas “freedom” has ultimately become our bondage when it comes to having Apostolic biblical revivals.
Revelation 6:9-11
When the fifth seal was opened, John saw the souls of them who were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony they held under the alter. They were asking the Lord, “How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?” These are the saints awaiting the resurrection. This does not mean the resurrection has taken place yet but that they have just not received their new bodies yet.
Revelation 6:11 says, “And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellow servants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.” What are these souls doing under the altar? Paul says in II Corinthians 5:8 that, “We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.” Paul was teaching that when you are gone from your body, you are in the presence of the Lord. In Philippians 1:23-24 Paul said, “For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better: Nevertheless to abide in the flesh is more needful for you.”
Although these saints have not yet received their resurrected bodies, nevertheless, they are in God’s presence. They will receive their new bodies in the first resurrection.
Revelation 8:1-5
The seventh seal, the seventh trumpet and the seventh vial all represent the same instance. Let’s compare the three events next to one another.
Revelation 8:5 (Seventh Seal) – “voices, and thundering s, and lightnings, and an earthquake”
Revelation 11:15,19 (Seventh Trumpet) – “voices, flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder, an earthquake”
Revelation 16:18 (Seventh Vial) – “voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake”
