What is the peace agreement?

Answer:

The Bible prophesied over 2,000 years ago about a peace agreement that would be signed between the Israeli's and Palestinians. The Israelis and Palestinians have been fighting over the land in the middle east, including the West Bank and the Gaza strip since the 1920's. In 1948, after the six day war, and the establishment of Israel as a nation, the Palestinians have fought hard to recapture the West Band and Gaza as their homeland. The Palestinians are reluctant to sign a peace deal that does not meet their demands of a two-state solution, ownership of east Jerusalem, and freedom of movement. The prophesied peace agreement is without question one of the most active conversations among world leaders today. President Donald Trump has been working on a peace agreement, he called "the deal of the century" for the first two years of his presidency. Now finished and ready to be signed, the peace agreement authored by American leadership will be released soon after the Israel elections on April 9th, 2019.

Where in the Bible?

"And he will enter into a binding and irrevocable covenant with the many for one week (seven years), but in the middle of the week he will stop the sacrifice and grain offering [for the remaining three and one-half years]; and on the wing of abominations will come one who makes desolate, even until the complete destruction, one that is decreed, is poured out on the one who causes the horror” (Daniel 9:27 AMP).

When will it happen?

Answer:

The peace agreement could easily be signed and set into motion yet this year (2019). It has been the agenda of the Trump administration from the beginning to author and submit a lasting peace agreement that will be suitable for both the Israelis and the Palestinians. The Israel elections are the only thing preventing the peace plan from being publicized at this time. It has been requested from the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu to president Donald Trump, to not release the peace agreement until after the elections in April, 2019. One event that certainly could precede the implementation of the peace agreement is world war three (WWIII). The Bible prophesies that there will be a war which will kill 1/3 of the worlds population starting at the Euphrates River in the middle east. If this war were to take place prior to the Israelis and Palestinians coming to an agreement for peace, there would be a world-wide outcry from those survivors, demanding peace, thus prompting a major peace agreement.

What events will it trigger?

Answer:

The Bible gives us detailed information of several events that will be the result of the peace agreement being signed. When the peace agreement is signed, that will start the prophetic time clock, (seven years) to the battle of Armageddon. During the first 3 1/2 years, Israel will build their new temple and start animal sacrifices again. Animal rights activist will not like this at all but it will go on for a while before it is stopped. Things may seen pretty quiet for the most part during the first 3 1/2 years, but everything changes when the political leader (Antichrist) stands in the new temple and claims to be God and puts a stop the the animal sacrifices. This event is called the Abomination of Desolation in the Bible (Matthew 24:15-21) (Daniel:9:27). When this happens, many prophecies will begin to unfold. The second 3 1/2 years will be a time of great tribulation according to the Bible. The Antichrist and False Prophet will be revealed. The two prophets of God will begin their ministry, be killed because of their ministry and be brought back from the dead after 3 1/2 days of laying in the streets of Jerusalem. The greatest event that will happen will be the second coming of Jesus Christ to this earth which the Bible says will happen just after the 3 1/2 years of tribulation.

Who is "he" in Daniel 9:27?

Answer:

Although many say the “he” in Daniel 9:27 represents Jesus Christ, we can scripturally prove that it refers to the Antichrist. The last masculine noun in Daniel 9:26 is “the prince that shall come,” not the Messiah. The prince that shall come is the “he” of Daniel 9:27 and refers to the Antichrist. This becomes clearer when we read what this “he” does. We read that he causes the sacrifice to cease and the abomination of desolation. Jesus did not cause sacrifices to cease but rather He was the ultimate sacrifice. People could still make a sacrifice after the death of Jesus Christ. Jesus’ death took away God’s acceptance of animal sacrifices; it did not decree that animal sacrifices could no longer be made. Jesus also did not commit the abomination of desolation. We have conclusive proof that the Antichrist does both of these things in Daniel 8:11-13 and Daniel 11:31. So it is conclusive that the “he” in Daniel 9:27 is the Antichrist.

What covenant are they talking about?

Answer:

The covenant they are talking about is, Israel's right to exist found in Genesis 15:18

"18 In the same day the Lord made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates:" (Genesis 15:18 KJV) .

This event took place 4,000 years ago during a vision/dream that God gave Abram. If we fast forward around 600 years, we find in the book of Numbers, chapter 13, verse 1-2, the Lord spoke to Moses and told him to send spies into the land of Canaan that he had given to the children of Israel (Jews). Now we move forward 400 more years; King David now moves Israel's capital from Hebron to Jerusalem around 1,000 BC. 32 years later, King Solomon builds the first temple for the Lord (968 BC - 586 BC). 70 years after the destruction of the first temple, the second temple was built and complete in 516 BC (second temple era 516 BC - 70 AD). Around 30 AD, Jesus prophesied the destruction of the second temple (Matt 24:1-2). 40 years later, the second temple was destroyed (70 AD).

The first Jewish exile lasted 70 years. the second exile lasted 1,787 years.

Is it one week (seven days) or one week (seven years)?

Answer:

When the Bible here in Daniel 9:27 uses the phrase "one week", it is not referring to a seven day period. However, the Bible explains in several places that "one week", (seven days) in the original Hebrew means "seven years". This is not true for every time in the bible so we have to read in context and revert back to the original translation to understand when this is the case.

Numbers 13:33-34

"33 And your children shall wander in the wilderness forty years, and bear your whoredoms, until your carcasses be wasted in the wilderness.

34 After the number of the days in which ye searched the land, even forty days, each day for a year, shall ye bear your iniquities, even forty years, and ye shall know my breach of promise."

Ezekiel 4:4-6

"4 Lie thou also upon thy left side, and lay the iniquity of the house of Israel upon it: according to the number of the days that thou shalt lie upon it thou shalt bear their iniquity.

5 For I have laid upon thee the years of their iniquity, according to the number of the days, three hundred and ninety days: so shalt thou bear the iniquity of the house of Israel.

6 And when thou hast accomplished them, lie again on thy right side, and thou shalt bear the iniquity of the house of Judah forty days: I have appointed thee each day for a year."

What does "and on the wing of abominations will come one who makes desolate" mean?

Answer:

Daniel taught, in Daniel 9:27, the abomination of desolation would take place in the midst or middle of the 70th week, the final seven year period leading up to the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. In Matthew 24:15-21 Jesus taught once the abomination of desolation occurs, those in Judaea are to flee to the mountains because then will be a time of tribulation like never before or ever will be. The abomination of desolation is the event marking the beginning of the great tribulation.

We learn who commits this event when we look at Daniel 8:11-12, Daniel 9:26-27, Daniel 11:31, and 2 Thessalonians 2:1-4; the Antichrist. We also learn what exactly happens at this event when we compare scriptures. When Jesus spoke of the abomination of desolation in Matthew 24:15, He spoke of it standing in the holy place. 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4 elaborates on this event by speaking of the Antichrist, the man of sin, sitting in the temple of God. This same passage shows us the Antichrist will claim that he is God and exalt himself above God just as we see in Daniel 7:25.

"And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein. 2 But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months."

The status of Jerusalem will not be resolved. Israelis nor the Palestinians will be willing to forfeit the rights of Jerusalem, thus this issue will be pushed off for, apparently seven years.

There will be a two state solution including a state for Israel and a Palestinian state. The Palestinian state will be in the west bank according to scripture (Matthew 24:15-16). Judea is the current west bank.

The temple mount will be placed under a sharing arrangement according to scripture (Revelation 11:1-2). (you cannot measure a temple if there is not a temple to measure)

Israel's third temple will be built on the temple mount and will be completed during the first 3 1/2 years of the final seven year period according to scripture (2 Thessalonians 2:3-4). (Satan cannot sit in a temple if it is not there)

Once the temple is built, the Jews will start animal sacrifices again (Daniel 11:31-32)
